Organizational Member

The AZADV grant fund provides monies for the development of innovative educational programs and/or activities by Organizational Members of AZADV. A grant of up to $2,000 may be awarded in each of the three zoo/aquarium categories: small, medium and large zoos/aquariums.

Each organizational member is eligible to send one delegate to participate in the annual meeting. This is a great way to have an active voice in shaping the future of our organization.

Hosting an AZADV conference provides an opportunity to showcase your zoo or aquarium to an influential group of volunteers from around the world. This is a great opportunity to feature your programs, build a valuable network of colleagues, and develop new skills. You will strengthen and create relationships with local organizations, opening the way for future partnerships. Previous hosts indicate holding a conference is a bonding (and learning) experience for both volunteers and staff.

Symbiosis, the Association's quarterly newsletter, is exclusive to members. The newsletter features educational articles submitted by industry professionals and AZADV members, news, and information about upcoming events. Members are encouraged to submit content for the newsletter. Organizational members are each sent one hard copy of the newsletter to the address provided on the membership form.

Join the conversation with more than 640 members from zoos and aquariums around the world. It is a great way for members to share their knowledge and experiences with each other. One representative of the organization may join the closed Facebook group.
